Batteries are the
reservoir in a solar electric system. Right choice of
batteries ensure proper performance and maximized battery
life. Solar batteries offer longer life and better protection from
abuse than low cost automotive batteries. If you have a large system
and want years of worry-free performance, use our Solar Series
batteries - they are high capacity and offer excellent cycle life.

Technical
Features
- The unique construction and
sealing technique ensures no leakage from the
terminals or case
- Exceptional
cycling ability for solar systems, generator/inverter
systems
- The
heavy duty lead calcium alloy grid provides an extra margin
of performance and service life
- High service
life
- Can
be used over a broad range
of ambient temperatures, allowing considerable flexibility in
system design and location. No
need to check their specific gravity or add water
etc

Signs of
Battery Aging
- Rapid voltage rise when charging -
charger shuts down early
- Rapid voltage drop under light loads
- Specific gravity varies between cells
by 50 points or more
- Cell to cell voltage variations of
0.05 - 0.1 V.
Maintenance
Tips
- If kept charged, a battery will give
more years of service
- Don't overcharge - use a charge
controller with solar, wind & hydro
- Use low voltage disconnects
- Don't let batteries freeze, keep them
warm and charged
